It has been invaluable to me; I&#039;ve been screwing around for HOURS with a flash-movie-player that didn&#039;t work because the rewritten URL&#039;s. mod_rewrite confused all of the external Flash references but the base-tag fixed all of this, once PROPERLY applied. This article saved me a few hours of stress, and probably a few gray hairs ;) Cheers!
